The Canal Paintings of D C 'Dusty' Miller

Dusty Miller gave up a career in advertising in London for his love of canals. He has lived aboard, run a hire boat and boatbuilding company, acted as lock keeper, and been involved with work parties and the Stratford on Avon Canal Society. All this time, he continued with his art involving advertising, boat decoration, pub signs and of course painting his favourite subject – canals. This book contains reproductions of over 60 of Dusty’s paintings, together with notes, anecdotes and photos of many of the scenes, some taken over 50 years ago.
