CanalBookShop – Book List

CanalBookShop started publishing canal books in 2012, and has so far published about 30 titles. Many of the books have received excellent reviews in the waterways press, and one, Shropshire Union Fly-Boats, won an award in 2016 from the Railway & Canal Historical Society.

The books are mainly historical in some way or other, and include a pictorial record of ex-working boats in two volumes, images of canals when in use by working boats, canal voyages 30 -70 years ago, and reprints such as Tom Rolt's classic Green & Silver, John Liley'sJourneys of the Swan and Edward Paget-Tomlinson's Colours of the Cut.
